Meet The Doctor
Kenneth G. Berliner, M.D. graduated from Columbia University in 1988 with a degree in BioChemical Engineering.  He then obtained his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1992.  From there, he trained at the famous Cook County Hospital in Chicago and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency from the University of Illinois in 1997. He attained Board Certification upon his first try, and he has been successfully practicing in Houston since 1997.

During that time, he has become one of the busiest orthopaedic surgeons in the region and has built an outstanding reputation for his Arthroscopic and Spine Surgeries.  He has served as one of the team Orthopaedic Surgeons for North Shore High School and Galena Park High School.  He also has been one of the first surgeons to bring the IDET and Total Disc Replacement surgeries to Houston.

Dr. Berliner understands that Orthopaedic problems can be highly complex, so he approaches his patients holistically, addressing psychosocial issues as well as the structural abnormalities.  Dr. Berliner demonstrates his commitment to the community through his many generous donations to local causes and his pro bono work he does for needy patients.  His interests include: arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, the treatment of chronic back pain, cervical disc disease, and minimally invasive surgery.
