| Kenneth
G. Berliner, M.D. graduated from Columbia University in 1988
with a degree in BioChemical Engineering. He then obtained
his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1992.
From there, he trained at the famous Cook County Hospital in
Chicago and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency from the
University of Illinois in 1997. He
attained Board Certification upon his first try, and he has been
successfully practicing in Houston since 1997.
During
that time, he has become one of the busiest orthopaedic surgeons
in the region and has built an outstanding reputation for his
Arthroscopic and Spine Surgeries. He has served as one of
the team Orthopaedic Surgeons for North Shore High School and
Galena Park High School. He also has been one of the first
surgeons to bring the IDET and Total Disc Replacement surgeries
to Houston.
Dr.
Berliner understands that Orthopaedic problems can be highly
complex, so he approaches his
patients holistically, addressing psychosocial issues as well as
the structural abnormalities. Dr. Berliner
demonstrates his commitment to the community through his
many generous donations to local causes and his pro bono
work he does for needy patients. His interests include:
arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, the treatment of chronic
back pain, cervical disc disease, and minimally invasive
surgery.
